Most students probably didn’t know, but it is possible to get tested for COVID-19 at the SWOSU Nurse’s Office, located in the Wellness Center.

“You can just say, ‘I’m going home to grandma, I’m scared and want to make sure I don’t have it’ – we will test you,” SWOSU President Dr. Diane Lovell said in an interview with The Southwestern. “We have enough tests to test anyone who walks in and wants to get tested.

The Nurse’s office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 – 5 p.m. You can access the office via a separate entrance to the right of the main entrance of the Wellness Center. The tests are free of charge.

Alternatively, you can also make an appointment with the Custer County Health Department or the Drive-Thru testing at Walgreens on Main Street.
