Spring recruitment is upon the SWOSU campus. With everyone’s schedules being busy, the organizations are planning on recruitment activities being on different weeks throughout the spring.

Sororities:

The newest national sorority on campus, formerly Sigma Sigma Chi, is Theta Phi Alpha. While they have already had a few events, they’re having more this week!

This Tuesday, Jan. 25, they have an information session from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Their philanthropy night is Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Another group recruiting this week is the first national sorority on campus, Sigma Phi Lambda. This Christian-based organization has two events for this week.

The first event is speed dating with the members. This occurs tonight, Jan. 24, from 7 – 8 p.m.

The second event tomorrow, Jan. 25, from 7 – 8 p.m., is a cookie decorating competition.

The third sorority, Zeta Phi, plans to have their rush in the first week of February.

Fraternities:

Beta Upsilon Chi, the national Christian fraternity on campus, also has events this week.

Tonight, Jan. 24, at 6:00 p.m., they have a poker night, sans money.

Thursday, Jan. 27, they plan on cheering on the Dawgs and Lady Dawgs in their basketball games. They will be dressed up in their best jerseys!

Tau Kappa Epsilon is planning on hosting events for rush Feb. 14-18.
