The SWOSU administration has announced its latest COVID-19 update.

As of Jan. 25, nine students on the Weatherford campus are reported positive. In addition to that, 15 employees are known to have COVID. No student COVID cases were reported on the Sayre campus, according to the SWOSU COVID dashboard.

The number refers to “known active cases.” The numbers could be higher due to insufficient testing and students not reporting positive case to the Dean of Student’s office.

Last week’s total case number was 28.
