RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – SWOSU Women’s Golfer Megan Brown won the Rattler Invitational Individual Championship on Tuesday and as a result, was also named the Great American Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the second time this season.

Brown also earned the weekly award once during the fall season. She now has four such weekly honors in her two years at SWOSU.

She shot an even par 144 (72, 72) through two rounds on Monday and Tuesday and made seven birdies. The team finished sixth overall amongst a field that featured nine opponents ranked in the nation’s top 50.

The SWOSU women will be right back to action next week at the Diffee Ford/Lincoln Invitational in Oklahoma City. They tee off again on March 7-8.
