Jennifer Baker has been named director of student financial services (SFS) at Southwestern Oklahoma State University effective March 1.

Baker assumed the position after serving various roles in the office over the last six years. During her tenure, Baker has served as the team lead for Ellucian Colleague and has spearheaded the effort to text students with updates on financial aid.

“Jennifer has been such an integral part of SWOSU’s SFS team for so long,” said SWOSU Dean of Enrollment Dr. Jonna Myers. “I could not be more thrilled to watch her take the helm of this exceptional team.”

A large percentage of SWOSU students depend on financial aid to continue their college education.  Therefore, SFS is vital to enrollment.

“We welcome Jennifer Baker as the leader of student financial services” said SWOSU Acting Vice President of Student Services Dr. Patsy Parker. “She comes to us with financial aid experience that will provide seamless service to our SWOSU students.”

Baker’s office is in Room 224 of the Stafford Center.
