July 22, 2020
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) announced on Wednesday at a press conference that he has been tested positive for Covid-19.
According to Stitt, he was tested on Tuesday. He feels “fine,” other than being a “little bit achy.” Stitt will be quarantining and working from home, isolating from his family whom he said had tested negative.
Stitt said that he was “pretty shocked” to be the first governor in the U.S. having the virus.
“I want to use my story to remind Oklahomans that if you aren’t feeling well, we want you to get tested.”
