SWOSU Football Team To Take On Southeastern
Following the Bulldogs’ first win since 2019, the SWOSU football team will look to move forward with momentum against Southeastern Oklahoma State University on Saturday.
Their last matchup was during the 2021 season, where SWOSU lost 37-28. Before that, the two teams played in 2019 as SWOSU took down the Savage Storm 35-17 in their 2019 home opener.
In their 24 games played against each other all-time, SWOSU has a 7-17 record against Southeastern. Though, SWOSU has won six of the last nine matchups between the two schools.
For Southeastern, they won their first game of the season 41-34 against Arkansas Tech University in double overtime, and they lost their second game 38-13 against Harding University.
With SOSU losing their last game, and SWOSU winning theirs, the Bulldogs will have the momentum going into the matchup.
The two teams match up against each other on Saturday, Sept. 17th at 6 p.m. at Flex-Chem Field.
