We are excited to have everyone back on campus! As we move back into campus life for the Fall 2024 semester there are many exciting events and opportunities coming up!
This week August 25th-30th is Greek Rush Week. Starting on Sunday August 25th with Greek Kick Off at Mann Hall Fields 6pm-7pm. A fun night with a game of water kickball, plus it’s a good time to hang out and meet all the greek life! The next night August 26th will begin the nightly rotations for rush (to sign up visit any of the greek life’s instagram accounts and the link is in their bio).
On Monday night Baptist Collegiate Ministry(BCM) will begin having their weekly Forge meetings at 7pm! At the BCM building, a good time of fellowship and worship. Also SWOSU SGA is taking applications for the Senate until 8/30 at noon. Don’t miss a chance to represent our student body in (SWOSU Softball outside library) SGA!
On Wednesday, August the 28th the Organizational Fair will be on the student union lawn from 11am-2pm. While attending you can find clubs to join to help not just with your degree but giving you something to get involved with at SWOSU. A lot of the tables set up at the fair will have free goodies from candies to t-shirts. There are also many giveaways happening you can enter to win free items like gift cards, coupons, and more. The organizational fair is a great way to explore and see all the things SWOSU provides that you may have never known to exist. 
Thursday August the 29th at 7:30pm there will be yoga on the Stafford lawn. Yoga has been proven to be a way to relieve stress. College life can get overwhelming. This is a good end of week break to get out and relax from all the stresses of being back or starting college.
Also to mention, next weekend August 31st – September 2nd is Labor day weekend and campus will be closed that Monday September 2nd.
