Last weekend, The Southwestern staff and professors/students from the CMVA Department visited Tahlequah and the campus of Northeastern State University for the Oklahoma Speech Theatre Communication Association (OSTCA) Annual Conference.
OSTCA is “an association of college and university faculty promoting speech, theatre, and communication education in the state of Oklahoma and the surrounding region.”
Students and professors each presented a 50-minute panel. Professors spoke about AR and VR at SWOSU and in the CMVA department. Students spoke about producing content for The Southwestern. 
The group was able to chat with other universities and share ideas about all sorts of subjects within the field. SWOSU’s very own Dr. Matthew Dorr was elected the OSTCA Vice President for 2025 and beyond.
