With Thanksgiving Break approaching, not every student here at SWOSU is fortunate enough to spend Thanksgiving at home with their family. If you happen to be one of those students or you’ve opted to stay in Weatherford and don’t already have plans for Thanksgiving, be sure to check out one of the following that is offering Thanksgiving meals in/near Weatherford.
1. Lucille’s Roadhouse (1301 N Airport Rd, Weatherford, OK 73096)
Lucille’s Roadhouse is open on Thanksgiving Day from 11am – 2pm at the Clinton location and 6am – 2pm at the Weatherford location. This year, Lucille’s is offering an all you can eat Thanksgiving dinner for just $18.99, which also includes Dessert! To see every dish they are offering, visit their Facebook.
2. Cherokee Restaurant (201 S Walbaum Rd, Calumet, OK 73014)
Located just over 30 minutes east of Weatherford in Calumet, Cherokee will be serving a Thanksgiving buffet on both Thanksgiving Eve from 5:00 – 8:00pm and Thanksgiving Day from 11:00am – 3:00pm.
3. Southwestern Christian Church (2525 Lyle Rd, Weatherford, OK 73096)
Sunday, November 24th 2024 Southwestern Christian Church right here in Weatherford is hosting a Church Thanksgiving at 11:15am. Bring something to share and bring a neighbor.
4. Cornerstone Church (1900 Lexington Ave, Clinton, OK 73601)
On Thanksgiving Day, Cornerstone Church in Clinton is serving a Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner from 11am – 12:30pm.
