Falling in Fall a musical by Laura Lee Julian and directed by Patrick Julian.

I (Kimmy Jones) had firsthand experience of what it is like to be in an original production at SWOSU Hilltop Theatre. Auditions took place September 11th and 12th (you can read my article about my experience auditioning), and after the cast list was posted, rehearsals were swiftly underway!

After nine weeks of rehearsals, late nights, music sing-throughs, blocking, and tech rehearsal, we were ready for opening night. My fellow cast mates and I learned how to work seamlessly with a talented team of cast members and crew, bring a character to life through singing, dancing, and acting, and handle the challenges of live performances.  There were four performances, three 7 p.m. shows, and one Sunday matinee. It was a beautiful, tragic, moving musical.
