SWOSU Baseball run-ruled East Central on Tuesday in eight innings winning the game 19-6.
A big takeaway from this game was the 15 walks the Tigers gave up. This allowed for SWOSU to capitalize. They were able to produce a grand slam after three walks in the second inning, this hit came off the bat of Bodi Waller. He also led the day with five RBIs to push more runs on the board. The second inning wasn’t the only high-scoring inning the Dawgs had. The third they were able to push seven more runs across.
A big help in the third was Kade Folmar. He had a triple and a homer in this inning. The Bulldog’s energy was unmatched. They came ready to work and get in and get it done. This team was celebrating every little thing, from the walks to the home runs.
There were a lot of players yesterday who had a great outing including Campbell Sullivan who had a double and one of the three home runs on the day.
SWOSU hopes to roll this momentum into Friday when they take on Arkansas Monticello here in Weatherford at 1pm.
