Pie-a-Phi Event
Phi Delta Theta’s Pie-a-Phi event was last week from Oct. 5-7.
All donations went toward the Live Like Lou Foundation and to help raise awareness for ALS, the neurodegenerative disease.
The cost to pie members in the face was $2 for one pie or $5 for three pies.
This fundraiser continued to follow COVID-19 safety precautions of gloves and disposable plates to help limit contact.
Garrett Parmer, Phikeia Educator, noted the importance of donations to this cause: “It’s important to me and our group because we have seen firsthand the effects of ALS. Some of our members have had family and friends suffer from this disease. We want to come together as a campus and as a community to show our support for those in need.”
In total, Phi Delta Theta raised $2,920. Group members expressed thanks to those who donated and supported the cause.
