Kingsley Ehiemua, a former SWOSU student and athlete in the football team, is the main suspect in a shooting at Campus North apartments in Weatherford on Oct. 27, 2020. As a precaution, the whole SWOSU campus was put in a 40-minute lockdown, because the location of the shooting was close to campus. Now, the Custer County Court has decided that the case will go to trial.

According to court records, after four preliminary hearings, the court in Arapaho on Friday, June 17, found probable cause that Ehiemua committed all three offenses he was charged with: first-degree robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy.
