The SWOSU Organization Fair is Fast Approaching

A new school semester comes with fresh experiences, new classes, and for incoming first-year students, an unfamiliar environment. The transition from a 3-month break to college — or from high school to college in the case of first-year students — can be a daunting one, and with such a change comes an adjustment period for everyone. Naturally, students will have accumulated an amount of stress after the first week of classes, but fortunately for us there are a slew of organizations on campus that are available to mitigate your stress and add a splash of fun into the monotonousness of the daily grind!

Southwestern Oklahoma State University invites all students to attend the yearly organization fair occurring on Wednesday, August 31st at 10:00 a.m. The fair will last a total of three hours and will be hosted on the Student Union lawn south of the clock tower, but in the case of unfavorable weather it will be hosted in the Pioneer Cellular Event Center. This will be a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested to get information about various clubs, organizations, fraternities, sororities, local businesses, and churches. Most booths also provide goodie bags, so even if you find absolutely no interest in any of the organizations you do not have to walk away empty handed. If you find the time in your schedule and want to add a bit of flair into your school year by joining a club or organization, then come on down to the organization fair. You will not regret it!
