Collegiate Farm Bureau Day at the Capital
Five SWOSU Collegiate Farm Bureau members went to the capital on March 8. While there, students were able to meet with other Farm Bureau chapters from other universities and talk with legislators. They heard from speakers like the Oklahoma Secretary of Agriculture Blayne Arthur, and other representatives that spoke about their impact on agriculture while being in legislation. Students also had the opportunity to reach out to their representatives and speak with them. This is an opportunity that allows students to see how important agriculture is in the capital and how they can make a difference.
