“Saved By The Bell” returns to SWOSU!

Saved By The Bell is returning to campus!

The event is taking place on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 @ 6pm in the Timothy T. Day Business Enterprise Center (BEC) for another incredible night of worship.

The event planning team will be giving out goody bags, there will be “Saved By The Bell pt. 2” merch, as well as free teas from New Creation Nutrition/The Buzz.

What is “Saved By The Bell”?

Saved by the Bell is an event that was established this school year at SWOSU. It is put on by the New Life Church, located in Hydro. Their worship team helps the students at SWOSU, or community of Weatherford, learn about the Lord. The event includes worship, a message, and fellowship among fellow believers, or people coming to know the Lord.

Last time, “Saved By the Bell” had over 30 SWOSU students accept Jesus, and 26 were baptized. Many students felt they had found what they were missing in their life. SWOSU Student, Taylor Marchi, was baptized that night and stated, “Saved By The Bell truly saved me from the path I was going down. I didn’t expect this coming into it. I found the Lord and felt truly like a new person.”
