Four SWOSU Golfers Earn All-Conference Recognition
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Four members of the 2021-22 SWOSU Golf teams garnered All-Great American Conference honors at an award banquet preceding the GAC Championships on Saturday night in Hot Springs.

Both teams had two All-GAC selections. On the women’s side, Megan Brown was named First Team All-GAC while Mikaela Rindermann was placed on the Second Team. Brown, the 2021 Freshman of the Year, has now been a first team selection in both years she’s played. Rindermann is now also a two-time second team selection after earning the identical honor in 2021.
For the men, Gregor Weck was Second Team All-GAC while Heston Brown was an Honorable Mention. This is Weck’s second season earning Second Team honors and third overall being named all-conference.
Academically, Weck was named the Men’s Elite Scholar Athlete – given to the golfer who holds the highest GPA in the tournament field. Rindermann and Conner Boydston were both recognized as a Distinguished Scholar Athletes, awarded to eligible student-athletes with at least a 3.70 GPA and 70 hours of completed classwork.
The 2022 GAC Championships are set to get underway Monday in Hot Springs, Arkansas with single rounds of golf on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Both squads are regionally ranked entering the tournament.
