The SWOSU softball team will compete in its last regular season series this week against Henderson State. So far, the Lady Bulldogs are 10-39 overall, and 5-25 in conference play. As of now, six of the twelve teams in the Great American Conference have clinched playoff berths.
The Lady Bulldogs are coming off an 0-3 series loss to the University of Arkansas-Monticello. The Lady Bulldogs had two close games, losing the second game 2-3 and the third 2-4.
The team is also on a six-game losing streak, losing its series against Southern Arkansas University 0-3.
The Lady Bulldogs will play against the Reddies at home for the last time this season. The last time the teams met, the Reddies won the series 2-1. Overall, the Lady Bulldogs are 14-27 in all play against the Reddies. The Lady Bulldogs are also 3-13 for the season for home play and are hoping to end the regular season on a high note.
The two teams will play one game on Friday, April 29 at 4 p.m., and a double header on Saturday, April 30 at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
