On November 13th, Cameron Lewis’ court proceeding began. He is facing a felony charge for ‘abuse of a corpse’ but is planning to plead not guilty to the charges. He is actually out on bond right now, but is required to wear an ankle monitor. After this court proceeding, they set his trial date for February 4th, 2026.
The outline of the case begins when Logan’s gaming chair and keyboard were found in Cameron’s dorm room. He claims he told Logan to meet him on campus before they headed to Cameron’s home in Purcell, OK. Cameron then claims he dropped Logan off at a residence in Edmond, but this story did not remain truthful for long when Cameron then changed his story to say he and Logan did go to Purcell and proceeded to take mushrooms and get into a fight. During this fight, Cameron claims Logan fell and hit his head on a rock. Cameron, who was high on mushrooms, panicked when he saw Logan take his last breath and drove his body to Veterans Lake and put him in a wooded area, and disposed of Logan’s phone in the lake.
After they found the gaming chair and keyboard, they took Cameron in for questioning, where he did not want to hand in his phone. Once the phone was turned in, they began pinging it, and the pings were by Veterans Lake, and they went out there, and that’s when they found Logan’s body. The investigators then returned to Weatherford, OK, and arrested Cameron Lewis with a charge of “abuse of a corpse” on October 9th.
Doing research on this case, the investigators are hoping to find more than just an ‘abuse of corpse’ charge. They have taken all the evidence in and begun processing it, but Cameron is pleading “Not Guilty”. The trial for Cameron will begin February 4th, 2026, in which all evidence will be processed and able to be used in court, and this case can come to a rest and closure for Logan’s friends and family.

I am Logans Mother…. that Lewis kid and his whole family are monsters and the court hearing on November 12, 2025 the judge said the was a “co-defendant” im assuming it is the 17 year old brother Bailey Lewis… I k knew cameron had to have help…. he is like 5 Inches shorter than my son, hes like 5’5″ or so. There is no physical way he could’ve grabbed logan who is 5’10” who was” unconcious” , by his shoulders and set him into a Chevy tahoe… im so disgusted in the lack or remorse shown by that entire family… with all of their rehearsed story that he took logan to his house in edmond….NONE OF LOGANS FAMILY HAD EVER LIVED THERE. WE WERE LIVING IN WELLSTON!!! so they all had a story planned amongst their family members…. my son was tooken from me, his future stolen from him by monsters…. the lewis kid went back j to school as though NOTHING HAPPENED. HE HAD MY SONS GAMING CHAIR IN HIS DORM FOR ALMOST A MONTH! the nerve of this pos trying to say my son’s life being tooken was an “accident” is outrageous…. whether it started as an accident or not it is that monsters actions when time could’ve been a crucial thing in saving his life, that kid didn’t attempt to get logan any help or take him to the er… he just drove him another hour south and watched him take hisbladt breath and proceeded to drag him into the woods and throw his phone into the lake” he had over an hour to decided to do the right thing and help my son….. but he chose to dump him and get rid of evidence and return to school and go on like he didnt just murder my son and leave him to decompose in the wilderness….. my heart is so broken and the lewis kid and anyone else involved needs to be held accountable fkr the wrongdoings done to my son…

When did the school finally inform you he wasn’t showing up for class? I think it’s crazy that I own two businesses in weatherford one being a 24hr gym on Main Street and not one thing was mentioned to me about a student missing until a week before he was found. I think swosu has some explaining to do.

The school didnt notice he was missing until I called and asked them to do a welfare check starting on sept 30th ont Oct 2 after a few days of trying to find/catch logan at his dorm room they discovered that he hadn’t been to classes since sept 8 and hadn’t used he meal plan since sept 10th. On sept 11th logan told me that he broke his computer monitor so I thought maybe he broke his phone too or something, I gave it a few days giving the benefit of the doubt. And we were just starting moving into our new house in chandler. We were in wellston prior. I still hadn’t heard from logan so I kept trying to get ahold of him. Then I was like ubknlwnwhat this really isn’t like logan he wouldve got back to me by now so thats when I called the school police and within 5 days of them saying he was missing for sure, they found my son… so for the school to not notice anything for 3 weeks prior, it’s just not right.

That lying little monster needs to fry along with his parents who knew he had been at their the last day he was seen alive. They allowed people to search for two weeks without coming forward. Cameron just returned to school as if he had not killed Logan. #justicegorloganmusil
